One-third of adults have high blood pressure and despite the 27 billion spent every year on medications, it's still the leading cause of premature death worldwide.
What is hypertension?
Blood transports nutrients in a closed system that needs constant pressure to deliver substances to your cells. If the pressure gets too high it will damage blood vessels.
Hypertension increases your risk of other conditions such as
• aneurysm and blood vessel damage
• heart attack and heart disease
•vision loss and impaired vision It’s important to know your numbers.
•Systolic pressure -the force of blood when the heart is beating ( top number)
• Diastolic pressure- the force of blood when resting between beats
Risk Factors
• Poor diet ( salt sugar processed foods)
• Plaque waxy cholesterol that hardens
• Malnutrition not enough of good minerals in the diet
•Pregnancy
• Obesity as weight increases so does the need for blood and oxygen
Managing Pressure Naturally
• Eliminate sugar and salt processed foods
•Cleanse your digestive system keep it clean
•Hydrate drinking enough water is critical to one's Health
•Nourish with alkaline fruits and veggies including leafy green-gray seeded oranges peaches and tomatoes
•Relax when you’re stressed your body releases hormones that elevate the heart
• Exercise regular exercise strengthen your heart
•Quit nicotine caffeine and alcohol;
•Monitor pay attention to your blood pressure and seek improvements.
