From 4100 B.C.E. to about 1750 B.C.E., the Sumerian civilization flourished in Mesopotamia (modern-day Iraq). The Sumerians were one of the first civilizations to divide time into hours and minutes. They had a sophisticated religion influenced by gods known as the Anunnaki.
The Anunnaki, as the Sumerians called them, were a race of 'gods' that came to Earth from another planet and created us as a slave species. They look like humans but are smaller in stature and have elongated heads. The first thing we were created for was mining. Gold mining. The Anunnaki needed gold to survive on their planet, and it was said that our bodies were full of gold. Sounds like something out of a sci-fi story, but there are many who believe this is true.
The Anunnaki were supposed to rule over the fates of the Sumerians. The Anunnaki were said to be in charge of judging humans in many tales. In addition, gods were characterized as children of Earth and Sky, according to popular belief. These legends are usually dismissed as mythology by most people, just like Greek deities. Others maintain that they are true.
These figures, which were worshiped throughout ancient Sumer as gods and goddesses, were represented in many ways. Ancient Sumerians built statues of them, clothed them in clothing, fed them food, and carried them to ceremonies in order to venerate them.
Some millennia later, some academics would wonder why these Anunnaki were so special — and why they were revered. However, it wasn't until the 20th century that the "ancient alien" hypothesis became popular.
The Anunnaki, according to certain theories, may have been actual beings. Some people think they arrived from another world. They say that they came from the enigmatic Planet X, which allegedly passed close to Earth thousands of years ago.
Clues left behind in hundreds of clay tablets have provided us with a lot of information about the Sumerian culture. These tablets are still being studied today, and they continue to be researched. However, one author maintained that some of the writings contain a tremendous revelation: the Anunnaki were actually extraterrestrials.
The Anunnaki possessed superior knowledge and technology. They were considered to be capable of such things as creating life in test tubes, cloning entire armies, building robots that could move on their own and performing other magic tricks. There is also a type of technology that was once attributed to the creatures before it became known as conventional science today.
People think that the Anunnaki are the most advanced race in our Solar System. They have similar technologies to us, but their civilizations are far more advanced than ours. That's why most people believe they're capable of things that we can only imagine in science fiction.
The ancient aliens were believed to possess otherworldly knowledge and technology, which allowed them to build monuments that are so high, so perfect and so complex that they seemed to be the result of magic.
Anunnaki was a civilization that had knowledge far beyond human intelligence, which is why many people believe they're still hiding pieces of the puzzle from us.
Why would aliens disguise themselves as gods to enslave humanity? Of course, to enslave the human race! The Anunnaki are said to have compelled the Sumerians to work for them. Then, when they had all they needed, the Anunnaki left Planet X and returned home. Some people even go so far as to claim that the Anunnaki were a race of reptilian humanoids. They think these reptiles assisted the Sumerians in developing their writing and arithmetic systems. Furthermore, they believe that these reptiles continue to exist today and exert power in the human realm.
