Mental Health has many categories, but many do not see worry as one of them. Worrying is a vehicle that can lead you down a path to many mental health issues such as anxiety and depression. Worry takes your mind on a hypothetical illusion that imagines you in the worse possible situation. If you are going to use your imagination for something. It should not be worrying. A wise person once said, "Why worry? It may never happen". That's right. It may never happen and if it did you may have had a hand in it happening.
When we sit, stand, or sleep worrying, it creates a continuous loop of worry. It never ends. The story just continues with no solutions other than to worry all over again. You continue on this mind-reeling path until you begin to see what you have been worrying about and this may lead to a depressive state. If you are going to worry, why not worry that it will be so great that you will not have the capacity to receive whatever you think is going to happen in that situation.
Take some time out and breathe through the worry and say, " Everything works in my favor for my good". Do something creative or fun that will take your mind from all of the what if's. If you allow your mind to run away with you. You may find yourself somewhere you didn't want to go. Discipline the mind to express the things you want by creating affirmations when you feel signs of worrying build in your body.
Surround yourself with beautiful things and positive people so that you can experience the high vibrations from those things. Put your thoughts at ease by getting out into nature and grounding yourself. If you like to write, journal your feelings and get them out of your system. This will allow those feeling to pass through you and not stay in your mind to muddle over.
You can use these practices and many others to release the worrying loop and move into an abundant mindset of progress. Reach out to someone you trust if you need help to create a healthy thought pattern,. Your thoughts are divine and they should work for you and not sabotage your quality of life especially your mental health.
