Dr. Michio Kaku feels that scientists should not rule out the possibility that UFOs come from another world.
Dr. Michio Kaku is a renowned physicist and professor at City College of New York who is known to his colleagues simply as one of the string theory contributors who attempts to explain how the universe works. The general reader recognizes Dr. Michio Kaku as a brilliant popularizer of science, best-selling author of popular science books, and futurist with a knack for seeing trends in technology.
Dr. Michio Kaku has made dozens of predictions about the future, many of which have yet to come true.
Dr. Michio Kaku is an internationally renowned physicist who has written many books on the topic of futuristic technology, among them The Science of Interstellar and Beyond Einstein: a Vision for Tomorrow. In a ten-minute video he published in March 2013, Dr. Michio Kaku discusses three possible futures for humanity at his Shinkendo Institute's YouTube channel.
In a recent interview, Dr. Kaku predicted that we would discover alien civilizations within a century thanks to the most up-to-date observational instruments. In an earlier discussion, he said humans may meet aliens in 100 years.
He added, James Webb Telescope, which is set to be delivered later this year. Once it becomes operational, we will be able to examine hundreds of planets in depth, increasing the chances of detecting alien life.
In April, as part of the UAP Task Force and to generate a UFO report, the government launched an investigation into unidentified aerial phenomena. These events have become a major discussion since the federal government began to exhibit signs of curiosity with the formation of the UAP Task Force and the creation of a UFO report this year.
Dr. Kaku urges scientists to continue studying UFOs despite the lack of proof that they come from other planets. The difficulty is that we currently have no proof against it either. According to the scientist, we should think about far more possibilities.
What if aliens are far more advanced than we are? What if they live under completely different physical laws and principles, and so forth.
This is one of the reasons why Dr. Kaku believes we should be particularly wary if we ever come into contact with an alien civilization. It's possible that aliens are hostile and technologically superior to us, making them a danger to our planet.
And why science should pay attention to UFOs?
There are several good reasons, and it is mainly because we want to know the truth. Science should keep an open mind when observing phenomena from outer space, especially when there's no scientific explanation for them.
Science should pay attention to UFOs because it is important to understand if we are alone in the universe or not.
For instance, given the fact that it has been decades since UFO sightings, no one knows what they're about. Perhaps scientists will have to collaborate in order for us to move forward.
At the end of the day, aliens might already be on Earth in the form of UFOs, but we don't know that yet.
