According to a huge database of US government records that is presently being released as a result of a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request, Americans have allegedly suffered from radiation burns, brain and nervous system damage, and even "unaccounted for pregnancy" after encounters with UFOs.
The UFO Library contains more than 1,500 pages of UFO-related documentation from the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), a secret US Department of Defense project that ran from 2007 to 2012.
The records were released to American journalist Leslie Kean, who has been investigating UFO sightings for two decades, and they provide new insights into the US government's secret investigation of the phenomenon.
The truth is that we know much less about Area 51 than film studios would want us to believe, but the government's response to this seems rather contrived. The information was never classified as secret or top secret per se, yet it became more widely known in 2017 when Luis Elizondo, former program director at the Pentagon, resigned and exposed several now-infamous films of an unidentified aircraft flying in apparently inexplicable ways.
The AATIP was revealed shortly after, and the American version of The Sun filed a Freedom of Information Act request for any and all records relating to the program.
Four years later, on April 5, 2022, the United States Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) complied with The Sun's request by delivering an additional 1,574 pages of documents.
According to The Sun, the cache contains papers on UFO encounters and human biology. There are papers on advanced technology like invisibility cloaks, as well as plans for deep space exploration and settlement. The AATIP told The Sun that some documents were "withheld in part" to safeguard privacy.
One of the highlights in the collection is Anomalous Acute and Subacute Field Effects on Human and Biological Tissues, which addresses similar topics as Workplace Surveillance. According to a study published by the CSIS, sophisticated aerospace systems have allegedly injured "human observers," putting a "risk to US interests."
The National UFO Reporting Center (NURC) released its fifth annual report on Jan. 3, 2018, which included a total of 935 documented cases from medical records and 300 "unpublished" incidents in which individuals were hurt as a result of purported interactions with "anomalous vehicles," including UFOs.
According to the study, electromagnetic radiation may have caused burns or other diseases in some individuals, possibly as a result of "energy-related propulsion systems." Brain and nerve damage have been linked to odd automobile accidents.
Other health effects associated with purported UFO encounters include "pregnancy loss," "injuries sustained during physical contact with an entity or craft," and psychological trauma.
Between 1873 and 1994, the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), a civilian non-profit organization that investigates reported UFO sightings, kept a list of potential biological consequences of UFO sightings on human witnesses. Unidentified Pregnancy, Apparent Abduction, Paralysis, Telepathy, Transportation, and Levitation have been linked to UFO sightings.
UFOs have been associated with strange pregnancy cases where the expectant mother has no memory of ever having sex. In some cases, the women report being abducted by aliens and impregnated aboard a ship. The child is often born with physical abnormalities or heightened intelligence.
